仙台・若林区吹奏楽団 第１１回定期演奏会のご案内
Wakabayashi-Ward Wind Orchestra is performing A Song For Japan in Sendai!!
「私達は仙台で活動しております若林区吹奏楽団と申します。2012年3月11日、私達の地元である若林区は津波に襲われました。この災害で私達の活動は中断を余儀なくされましたが、音楽が被災者の方々を元気付けると信じ、演奏活動を再開致しました。
“A Song for Japan”を聞いて私達は勇気づけられ、この作品を演奏会で演奏することを決意しました。この作品は、被災した方々への応援のメロディとなることと思います。
“A Song for Japan”を作曲して下さったことに、私達は大変感謝しております。2012年10月14日の演奏会で、この作品を演奏致します。 」

we are the Wakabayashi-Ward Wind Orchestra in Sendai, Japan.
On the 11th of March, 2011 our hometown, the Wakabayashi-Ward in the Sendai-City, was hit by Tsunami. Our activities has been discontinued since the disasters. Although we are amateur musicians, we believe that music encourages survivors in our hometown. We resumed playing music for them.
We were inspired by listening to "A Song for Japan", and decided to perform it in our concert. We hope it would support our audience that might be with lots of survivors.
We are deeply grateful to you that you compose this work. And we play “A Song for Japan” in our concert that hold at 14th October, 2012.
