Nine years have passed since the earthquake and Tsunami disaster hit the Tohoku of Japan on the 11th of March, 2011. Lots of thanks to everyone who has supported and prayed for Japan by donating, purchasing the goods, playing the song, making charity events happen and repeating them, and many other ways.
A Song For Japan Project Team would like to send condolences to 15,899 victims, as well to 3,739 people whose case have been recognized as "related deaths". The deaths, the related deaths with the missing people count 22,167 in total. We wish these 2,529 missing people to be found and return to the family as soon as possible. 30,914 evacuees have not returned to their home Fukushima yet, due to the nuclear disaster. The Japanese government announced that their Reconstruction Agency would keep up for ten more years than planned in the first place, meaning until the end of March, 2031.
We wish to keep playing heart-warming music and supporting the people of Japan until they have peace and their 100%-full smiles back. 11 March, 2020
